Cebu - an Emerging Call Center Giant

Cebu was placed at no. 4 in the list of top 10 emerging call centers for 2007, among a handful of Indian and Chinese cities. With the vast improvement in Cebu's telecommunication infrastructure and the very low cost of living, Cebu Investment Promotions Center (CIPC) executive director expects Cebu to reach the no. 1 spot.
The rise of Cebu call centers will be a major help to the unemployment issue in the area. The main challenge in Cebu will be the need for more intensive English training.
