Cebu - an Emerging Offshore Call Center location February 13, 2008 Cebu was placed at no. 4 in the list of top 10 emerging offshore call centers for 2007, among a handful of Indian and Chinese cities. With the vast improvement in Cebu's telecommunication infrastructure and a low cost of living, Cebu Investment Promotions Center (CIPC) executive director expects Cebu to do well as a location for outsourced and offshore contact centers. The rise of Cebu-based outsourced call centers will be a major help to the unemployment issue in the area.
